Activities are offered on a first\u2011come, first\u2011served basis.<\/p>\n Looking to spark creativity and imagination? Drop in to your local Mississauga Library on February 14 for more free family fun<\/a> including story time, building big with LEGO, board games and hands-on activities for all ages.<\/p>\n Get Outside for Family Day Fun<\/p>\n Spend your Saturday (February 14) with a visit to the Bradley Museum<\/a>, where the historic grounds turn into a winter wonderland. Enjoy free snowshoeing, snow games (weather permitting), simple crafts, and other fun outdoor adventures. Between activities, warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy the storybook\u2011like scenery.<\/p>\n Keep your outdoor Family Day fun going by exploring the city\u2019s beautiful parks and trails<\/a>, visiting the Port Credit Memorial Park<\/a> skating trail or tobogganing<\/a> on one of the City\u2019s six designated hills.<\/p>\n Winter safety<\/p>\n As you enjoy the outdoors this holiday weekend, make sure to steer clear of frozen lakes, ponds, rivers, and creeks<\/a>. Even if the ice looks thick, it can still break with the changing temperatures. Ice near the shore or riverbank is especially weak and slippery. To stay safe, don\u2019t walk, skate, or play on any natural ice. Keep your distance and enjoy winter fun in safe areas instead.<\/p>\n Office and facility closures<\/p>\n City offices, including Mississauga City Hall, the Ontario Courthouse, 311 Citizen Contact Centre, Clerks, all Mississauga libraries, museums and some community centres will be closed on Monday, February 16.
