UFC welterweight contender Sean Brady has discussed his future in what is becoming the most stacked division in the promotion.<\/p>\n

For the longest time now, Sean Brady has been a valuable member of the welterweight division. While he\u2019s had a few setbacks along the way, he has largely been a pretty consistent force towards the top of the pile at 170 pounds.<\/p>\n

However, following his recent TKO loss<\/a> to Michael Morales, Brady has been left without a direction as others around him continue to thrive. Of course, he\u2019s still an exceptionally talented fighter, but he needs to get himself back in the win column and fast if he wants to be taken seriously in the title conversation.<\/p>\n

In a recent video, Brady spoke openly about the current state of the division and his place in it.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cIan Garry is going to fight Islam (Makhachev) next \u2013 that\u2019s just what I think,\u201d Brady said on his \u201cBradyBagz Show.\u201d \u201cMaybe Morales and JDM (Della Maddalena), then you got Belal (Muhammad), I don\u2019t know what they\u2019re doing with Belal. There\u2019s Kamaru (Usman) right there, I\u2019d like to fight Kamaru. I would like to fight Belal. I just don\u2019t know what they\u2019re waiting for. I think I\u2019ll have something in April so that\u2019s what we\u2019re timing up right now.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like no fights are booked right now and then the whole division is going to be booked. They\u2019ve still got Colby (Covington) in the f*cking rankings. That sh*t is crazy, bro. Now he was talking about fighting at 185. Now he\u2019s saying he wants to fight Paddy Pimblett at the White House card. \u2026 I don\u2019t know what\u2019s going to happen with the division. It\u2019s kind of on standstill right now, and then Islam is probably not fighting until after Ramadan.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think I need to fight up, but I think it would nice to fight up,\u201d Brady said. \u201cI took the risk against Morales, which i didn\u2019t have to take, and obviously it didn\u2019t work out for me. I\u2019m in front of Kamaru. That\u2019s a fight that I want. I should get that fight. I\u2019m No. 6, Belal is 5. We\u2019re right next to each other.\u201d<\/p>\n
