This three-bedroom house was listed for sale in December with a price well below $1.9-million to catch the interest of buyers in Calgary\u2019s west end. Several parties visited midweek, but tours were halted after one guest made an offer, with conditions, before the weekend. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe were prepared to list the property for as high as $1.9-million, maybe higher,\u201d said agent Bryon Howard. \u201cBut there were few sales [in the area], and a few properties were sitting on the market.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe decided to come in aggressively at $1.82-million and we had seven showing requests in 36 hours. Only four of those showings got in.\u201d<\/p>\n

The five-year-old house is set high on a 48- by 113-foot lot. <\/p>\n

\u201cIn that area, there are a lot of beautiful homes like that one, but this was on a slightly oversized corner lot,\u201d Mr. Howard said. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt has commanding views. Even from the hot tub, you could have a view of the mountains.\u201d <\/p>\n
