Television, the Scooby-Doo series previously <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2024\/04\/scooby-doo-live-action-series-netflix-greg-berlanti-josh-appelbaum-scott-rosenberg-1235898662\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">landed at Netflix<\/a> in a competitive situation, with a premium, script-to-series commitment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWritten by Midnight Radio\u2019s Josh Appelbaum &amp; Scott Rosenberg (Cowboy Bebop), and based on characters created by Hanna-Barbera, the yet untitled Scooby-Doo series crafts an origin story of how the Mystery Inc. group got together and first teamed up to crack the haunting case that started it all.<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"c-lazy-image__img lrv-u-background-color-grey-lightest lrv-u-width-100p lrv-u-display-block lrv-u-height-auto\" src=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/wp-content\/themes\/pmc-deadline-2019\/assets\/public\/lazyload-fallback.jpg\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Screenshot-2026-02-19-at-5.44.23\u202fPM.png\" alt=\"\" data-lazy- data-lazy- height=\"1024\" width=\"574\" decoding=\"async\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDuring their final summer at camp, old friends Shaggy and Daphne get embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely lost Great Dane puppy that may have been a witness to a supernatural murder. Together with the pragmatic and scientific townie, Velma, and the strange, but ever so handsome new kid, Freddy, they set out to solve the case that is pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all of their secrets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAppelbaum and Rosenberg serve as showrunners on the series, which the duo, Andr\u00e9 Nemec and Jeff Pinkner executive produce via Midnight Radio. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Leigh London Redman executive produce for Berlanti Productions via the company\u2019s Warner Bros. Television deal.
