That was the scene for the Canadiens on Friday.<\/p>\n
To mark its 25th anniversary, the Montreal Canadiens Children\u2019s Foundation welcomed the team for a practice on the Bleu Blanc Bouge rink in C\u00f4te-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Gr\u00e2ce. This event highlights the Foundation\u2019s flagship initiative \u2013\u2013 the construction, donation, and activation of refrigerated outdoor rinks \u2013\u2013 while 25 years of commitment to youth and community across Quebec.<\/p>\n
There were no \u2018sticks in the middle\u2019 for this edition of shinny, though. The Habs kept things businesslike, running through a full practice as they continue to ramp up the pace ahead of next Thursday\u2019s return to game action.<\/p>\n
