The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced a recall for a vitamin pill product due to the risk of salmonella infection. <\/p>\n

Ambrosia Brands is initiating a recall of dozens of lots of its Rosabella Moringa Capsules. Moringa powder is a dietary supplement containing vitamins A, B and C, as well as protein, calcium, potassium and iron, according to the Rosabella official website.<\/a> <\/p>\n

The recalled products were sold online by authorized outlets tryrosabella.com, TikTok Shop and Amazon. The Food and Drug Administration also mentioned that the line was sold online by unauthorized third-party distributors at eBay.com, Shein, and other sites. <\/p>\n

The affected capsules were available for purchase starting in February 2025 and have expiration dates from March 2027 to November 2027. They were sold in white plastic bottles, according to the Food and Drug Administration. <\/p>\n

Salmonella \u201ccan cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems,\u201d the Food and Drug Administration\u2019s announcement reads. <\/p>\n

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention<\/a> is investigating the capsules in connection with a salmonella outbreak across the country. Seven people have reportedly contracted the disease, and three have been hospitalized, according to the CDC. <\/p>\n

Ambrosia Brands has discontinued purchasing and using raw moringa leaf powder from the raw material provider involved in the recalled products. <\/p>\n

Customers are advised to dispose of the capsules immediately.
