DEI Justin Trudeau would have been too terrified of him to remain in politics for as long as he did. And, with Lowell still on radio, Canada could have been saved.<\/p>\n R.I.P., Lowell<\/p>\n EDDY DIGNAN HE WILL BE MISSED<\/p>\n I was a big fan of Lowell Green since he began his show on CFRA.<\/p>\n He was a very common-sense guy and a great Canadian. He will be missed.<\/p>\n ROBERT MORRIS LISTENED TO LOWELL FOR YEARS<\/p>\n Like many others, I listened to Lowell Green for years.<\/p>\n Advertisement 3<\/p>\n This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n There\u2019s a question Lowell would often ask, and heaven help the caller who didn\u2019t know the answer.<\/p>\n Just thinking about Lowell\u2019s reaction to callers who didn\u2019t know the answer makes me smile.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s the question: Where\u2019s the St. Lawrence Seaway?<\/p>\n JILL YOUNG NO MORE MEANINGFUL DIALOGUE<\/p>\n Lowell Green\u2019s passing highlights what is missing today.<\/p>\n While the airwaves in Ottawa are filled with endless music stations vying for the same audience, why has someone not clued in to the fact that a well thought out, mostly political talk show is really what\u2019s missing?<\/p>\n With the exception of Vassy Kapelos, on CFRA, we are without any meaningful dialogue on issues of the day.<\/p>\n Long gone are the days of Lowell Green, or Rob Snow, who at least talked about adult issues and gave their audiences chances to comment, even argue their viewpoints.<\/p>\n Advertisement 4<\/p>\n This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below.<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n WAYNE BOYCE CHINESE VALUES OUR VALUES?<\/p>\n Mark Carney loves to pander for votes with statements like, \u201cMuslim values are Canadian values.\u201d<\/p>\n Not long ago, he made another statement that Canada\u2019s greatest security threat was China. Now that he seems to be cozying up to them, does he now think that Communist Chinese values are Canadian values?<\/p>\n I honestly believe he\u2019s gaslighting us to think that China is our friend and the U.S. is our enemy.<\/p>\n I\u2019m not a pessimist, but the way this country is being governed, I\u2019m not optimistic about the future of Canada.<\/p>\n GISELE LAVICTOIRE HAVE YOUR SAY<\/p>\n![\"Lowell](\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/qmi_os20250302tc004_51718214.jpg\")
