Kevin Durant has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons.<\/p>\n

Despite having a great season, the Houston Rocket has been garnering attention for an alleged\u00a0burner account<\/a>. Some of the posts made by the account have taken shots at teammates, past and present. Now, Durant is in the headlines again for a drastic decision made at his company, Boardroom.<\/p>\n

Kevin Durant’s entire full-time staff at his company, Boardroom, laid off without notice<\/p>\n

Phillip Lewis, a editor at HuffPost, reported Saturday morning that, “Boardroom, the sports, media and entertainment brand co-founded by Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman, has eliminated its full time editorial team.”<\/p>\n

It was a shocking, ill-timed decision from the company. There were no prior rumors of Boardroom being dismantled. But suddenly, days after its founder is in a social media scandal, the entire staff is cut loose.<\/p>\n

Without additional details, the reason behind the move is speculative.<\/p>\n
