Meghan Markle<\/a> faced harsh criticism online from Royal fans after her brand posted a birthday message for her special day.<\/p>\n

The Duchess of Sussex remained quiet on her official Instagra<\/a>m account on Monday, August 4, the day she turned 44; however, her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, shared a tribute to its founder.<\/p>\n

American Riviera Orchard posted a fresh black-and-white photo of the Duchess donning a dark dress and a light fedora, writing in the caption: “Celebrating the woman behind it all. She pours her heart, vision, and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder @meghan.”<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, some fans didn’t react positively to the post, slamming Meghan for congratulating herself on her birthday.<\/p>\n

This occurred while the Royal Family remained silent about Meghan’s milestone day, as the Duchess only received a few birthday wishes online from celebrities and friends.<\/p>\n

One user humorously suggested: “Because of her, I think laws should be implemented against self-complimenting, and also there should be laws against complaining from castles and mansions [laughing face emoji].”<\/p>\n

Another user remarked: “This is a true narcissist sending a Happy Birthday message to herself. She doesn’t need friends or relatives, she gives herself all the self-love anyone could ever need. She wakes up every morning and kisses her reflection in the Mirror, Mirror, on the wall.”<\/p>\n

However, some users appreciated As Ever’s tribute and praised the Duchess, along with wishing her a very happy birthday.<\/p>\n
