Ryan had the MRI after tightness in his lower back forced him to miss his scheduled start in Saturday&#8217;s spring game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s just dealing with some inflammation and as a result has some tightness,\u201d Zoll told MLB.com. \u201cSo he\u2019ll be down for a few days here just to let things calm down. We\u2019ll progress him as tolerated and don\u2019t envision this impacting his readiness for opening day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The encouraging update on Ryan was especially important after the Twins lost ace\u00a0Pablo L\u00f3pez\u00a0for the season.
