China follows with a 7.1 percentage point reduction, while India&#8217;s tariff will fall by around 6 percentage points.<\/p>\n<p>Trump had originally invoked the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) in January last year to impose tariffs on US trade partners.
