Eddie Hearn believes Zuffa Boxing\u2019s paydays will be deemed unfair

\nUFC<\/a> fighters.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Zuffa Boxing is the newly launched boxing venture of the TKO group,
\nthe UFC and WWE\u2019s parent company. While the UFC has long been
\nslammed for unfair fighter pay, Zuffa doesn\u2019t seem to be going down
\nthe same road. Hearn\u2019s homegrown star, Conor Benn, recently parted
\nways with Matchroom to sign a deal with Zuffa. Benn reportedly
\nsigned a $15 million deal for a single bout, which is more than the
\nhighest fight purse in UFC history.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hearn believes UFC fighters will feel cheated when they see the
\nZuffa salaries. According to Hearn, UFC fighters won\u2019t be pleased
\nbeing paid a 10th of Zuffa Boxing\u2019s salaries despite generating
\nmore revenue. Hearn also brought up heavyweight champion Tom
\nAspinall<\/a>\u2019s (15-3) apparent falling out with the UFC. Aspinall\u2019s
\nfirst title defense against Ciryl Gane<\/a>
\nended in a no-contest after Gane poked the champion in both eyes in
\nthe first round at UFC 320<\/a>
\nlast October. Aspinall faced backlash from Dana White for choosing
\nnot to continue with a compromised vision. White initially said
\nthat Aspinall didn\u2019t look like he wanted to be in there with Gane.
\nWhile Aspinall recently underwent surgery in both eyes, White said
\nthey were more likely to be injections.\u2018Sick as a Dog\u2019

\n\u201c[UFC fighters will feel] sick as a dog,\u201d Hearn said on The
\nStomping Ground. \u201cIf you\u2019re a UFC fighter, you\u2019re looking at this
\nZuffa, going, \u2018I\u2019m being absolutely ripped off here. I\u2019m generating
\nmore revenue than these guys, and I\u2019m getting a 10th of the money.\u2019
\nThere\u2019s no loyalty in that game. Look at Aspinall. He got his eyes
\ngouged out and he just gets humiliated by the UFC. They basically
\ntold everyone he\u2019s a liar and he\u2019s a p\u2014-y. This is a cutthroat
\nbusiness.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

While even the UFC top stars can\u2019t beat Conor Benn\u2019s deal, there is
\nan even more stark contrast with fighters at the bottom of the
\nladder. The salary of a UFC newcomer can be as low as $12,000 to
\nshow and $12,000 to win.\u00a0<\/p>\n
