(Supplied)<\/p>\nA Calgary family is fearing for their safety after sharing footage that appears to show individuals trying to break into their home in the city\u2019s southeast last week.<\/p>\n
The couple, who didn\u2019t want to be named or shown on camera, shared a video of the incident with CityNews, which showed two masked individuals attempting to break in with an object at around 7 p.m. on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n
The video shows them circling the home, holding walkie-talkies and speaking to someone else not shown on camera.<\/p>\n
Then one of the two approaches a door to the home and appears to try to smash the window, which doesn\u2019t break.<\/p>\n

Requesting anonymity for fear of their safety, the couple explains that police were called to the scene and are now investigating. The couple also says this isn\u2019t the first time this has happened, as their neighbours have also had break-ins and attempted break-ins.<\/p>\n
Calgary police confirmed the details with CityNews, saying officers responded to the Douglasdale Point home on Feb. 20 for reports of an attempted break-and-enter. <\/p>\n
They say they are looking into this as part of a trend in the area and city.<\/p>\n
