Expectation is he will be moved by the trade deadline, which is now less than 10 days and 20 hours away.<\/p>\n On Pagnotta\u2019s website<\/a>, an article highlighted that Oilers general manager Stan Bowman is working with Mangiapane\u2019s agent, Allain Roy, on finding him a new home.<\/p>\n Mangiapane\u2019s name has been in the rumour mill since late December, but the Oilers have yet to find a suitor for the 29-year-old who signed a two-year, $3.6 million AAV deal with the team this past summer. His first season in Edmonton has been nothing short of a disappointment, scoring just six goals and 12 points in 49 games, while finding himself healthy scratched in nine games between Christmas and the Olympic break. Mangiapane has some control in where he heads thanks to a no-movement clause.<\/p>\n One team who could be a theoretical fit are the Philadelphia Flyers,\u00a0Daily Faceoff\u2019s Anthony Di Marco wrote Monday.<\/a>The Oilers, according to Di Marco, are among half a dozen teams who have shown interest in Flyers defenceman Rasmus Ristolainen<\/a>. While the Oilers have checked in, he reported, they aren\u2019t beleived to be a \u201cserious\u201d suitor.One issue in a potential deal for Ristolainen is the Oilers salary cap position, which sees the team project for roughly $1.1 million in deadline cap space. Ristolainen has another year left on his deal paying him $5.1 million, so some gymnastics would certainly need to happen before any deal was consumated.\u00a0Edmonton being linked to Ristolainen isn\u2019t anything new.
