It has truly been an honour to be part of your dining experiences,\u201d wrote the restaurant on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>Chef Hung is brought to us by the man of the same name, an award-winning and three-time champion of the Taipei International Beef Noodle Festival Competition between 2007 and 2010. The restaurant is best known for its beef noodle soup, but it also offers a variety of other dishes like deep-fried pork chop on rice, dumplings, hot and sour soup, and more.<\/p>\n<p>In October 2023, Chef Hung also quietly closed its <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyhive.com\/vancouver\/chef-hung-taiwan-bistro-vancouver\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Bistro 990<\/a> concept.<\/p>\n<p>Fans of the noodle restaurant can still visit it at its UBC (3313 Shrum Ln.) and SFU (9055 University High St. #109) locations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you for being part of our journey.
