With Saskatchewan set to approve tailgating this year, the Roughriders are now sharing how you can join in on the experience.<\/p>\n

The Saskatchewan Roughriders<\/a> have announced that season ticket members will be able to enter a lottery for tailgate passes<\/a> for the 2026 CFL season.<\/p>\n

In a news release, the Riders indicate they have been working with the provincial government to bring in a designated tailgating area<\/a> on the REAL District grounds near Mosaic Stadium. The club has announced a lottery for season ticket holders as space in the tailgate zone is limited.<\/p>\n

The province introduced legislation<\/a> to allow tailgating in the fall and it is expected to be passed during the spring sitting, which begins next week.<\/p>\n

Saskatchewan indicates that the full set of regulations is still being finalized but they can confirm approved tailgaters will be permitted to bring their own alcohol and prepare their own food within the designated area, subject to provincial guidelines. Each successful applicant will receive two adjacent parking spaces, one for vehicle parking and one for their tailgate setup.<\/p>\n

Tailgate passes will be $500 for the season and will include any potential home playoff game at no additional cost.<\/p>\n

The deadline to enter the lottery is by the end of March 5. Selected season ticket members will be contacted by their Rider Account Representative in April.
