It\u2019s a move that stands in contrast to Rock\u2019s stance as an artist that aims to give music lovers the chance to hear live music for \u201ca fair ticket price.\u201d<\/p>\n Article content<\/p>\n After looking at various dates on the 10-date outing on Ticketmaster<\/a>, as of this writing, many of the high-priced tickets are still available, including the opening night show in Dallas on May 1. Other lower-level seats will set his fans back $500. Last year, Rock worked with U.S. President Donald Trump to enact measures to try and combat ticket resellers.<\/p>\n \u201cYou can buy a ticket for $100. By the time you check out, it\u2019s $170. I would rather be, you know, a hero to working-class people and have them be able to come attend my shows and give them a fair ticket price,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n On Reddit<\/a>, music lovers hit out at Rock for taking issue with reporting on his pricing for the Freedom 250 Tour.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not fake news if you\u2019re actually selling 5k seats moron,\u201d one person wrote, with another questioning whether anyone will actually pay $5,000 to see Rock live.<\/p>\n \u201cNo one is paying $5,000 to see Kid Rock in 2026,\u201d they said. \u201cScalpers were MAYBE getting $5,000 for premium Taylor Swift tickets during her last tour.
