\nORILLIA SOLDIERS\u2019 MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

\nThe board of directors of Orillia Soldiers\u2019 Memorial Hospital (OSMH) has approved the appointment of Tom Roberts to the position of interim president and CEO, effective April 3, 2026.<\/p>\n
The date coincides with the April 2 departure of current president and CEO Carmine Stumpo, who announced in December that he had accepted the top leadership role at Mackenzie Health.<\/p>\n
\u201cTom is a trusted and experienced health-care leader with a thorough understanding of our hospital,\u201d said Lawrence Pietras, OSMH board chair. \u201cHe is highly respected by his colleagues and today\u2019s appointment will enable a strong and stable leadership presence during this transition.\u201d<\/p>\n
Roberts, who joined OSMH in June 2019, holds the position of executive vice-president, corporate services, and chief financial officer. In addition to financial leadership, his diverse portfolio includes oversight of IT and data systems, clinical support services, strategic planning and facilities. Roberts also plays a key leadership role in ongoing planning to build a new hospital in Orillia.<\/p>\n
