We\u2019ve all heard of A.I. fucking up people\u2019s Spotify pages<\/a> and spreading misinformation, but never both of those uses coming together. Well, that was until recently when a series of A.I. generated posts on social media claimed Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo was diagnosed with blood cancer.<\/p>\n

As you might suspect given this post\u2019s headline, it\u2019s total bullshit. At 57 years old, Phil Anselmo hasn\u2019t announced a cancer diagnosis. In fact, he posted a video on his official social media page \u2014 which you can watch below \u2014 to shut that rumor down, ultimately reassuring fans he\u2019s doing just fine.<\/p>\n

\u201cLadies and gentlemen, Philip H. Anselmo here. There\u2019s an A.I. page that is going bananas about me, and it\u2019s putting out bullshit, bullshit, bullshit. I\u2019m healthy as a horse. There\u2019s incredible stuff going on. Mixing the new Down. King Parrot is coming into town. Performing the new En Minor in the studio, trying to get that finished. As Anslemo said in his video, the dude\u2019s crazy busy as of late, having just finished a long run with the Pantera tribute act. Now he\u2019s got a new Down record in the works and apparently he\u2019s working on new En Minor \u2014 which if you haven\u2019t listened to that particular project and like your music downtrodden and sad, you need to listen to En Minor.<\/p>\n
