Toronto police are asking for the public\u2019s help to locate a man wanted in connection with a number of alleged break-ins in the East Toronto area last week.<\/p>\n

Between Wednesday, Feb. 18, and Saturday, Feb. 21, police said they received five separate calls for break and enters in the Queen Street East and Broadview Avenue area.<\/p>\n

According to police, a man allegedly damaged the locks on the front entrances to establishments and forced entry. Police said that once inside, a man would allegedly steal a number of items including cash boxes and cash registers, and then flee the area prior to officers arriving.\u00a0<\/p>\n

David Correia, 49, of Toronto, is wanted on a number of charges including four counts of breaking and entering, mischief under $5,000, and six counts of failing to comply with a release order.<\/p>\n

He is described as approximately six-feet tall, 160 pounds, with dark hair, grey\/brown facial hair and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark coloured jacket with the hood up.<\/p>\n

An image has been released in the hopes that someone can make police aware of his whereabouts.<\/p>\n
