{"id":501760,"date":"2026-02-26T22:50:12","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T22:50:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/501760\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T22:50:12","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T22:50:12","slug":"brampton-man-killed-in-crash-under-investigation-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/501760\/","title":{"rendered":"Brampton man killed in crash under investigation: police"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Police are asking for witnesses to come forward following a two-vehicle crash that left a Brampton man dead this week.<\/p>\n<p>The OPP says the collision happened around 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday on County Road 124, just north of 20 Sideroad in the town of Melancthon, approximately 70 kilometres north of Brampton.<\/p>\n<p>A 24-year-old man from Brampton was injured in the crash and rushed to a Toronto-area hospital.<\/p>\n<p>He was later pronounced dead. Police have not released the victim\u2019s identity.<\/p>\n<p>The OPP says an investigation into the collision is underway, and investigators are asking witnesses to the crash to come forward.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident is asked to contact the Dufferin OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122.
