Bubbles:\u00a0Users can now bubble any app by long-pressing launcher icons. On large screens, a new\u00a0bubble bar\u00a0in the taskbar manages organized and anchored bubbles. Apps should follow\u00a0multi-window guidelines<\/a>.<\/p>\n

EyeDropper API:\u00a0A new system API allows apps to capture pixel colors from anywhere on the display without requiring screen capture permissions.<\/p>\n

Contacts Picker:\u00a0The\u00a0ACTION_PICK_CONTACTS<\/a>\u00a0intent provides a system-level picker. It grants temporary, session-based access to specific fields, reducing the need for full\u00a0READ_CONTACTS<\/a>\u00a0permissions.<\/p>\n

Touchpad Pointer Capture:\u00a0By default, captured touchpads now behave like mice, reporting relative movement and gestures instead of raw finger coordinates. Legacy absolute mode remains available via\u00a0POINTER_CAPTURE_MODE_ABSOLUTE.<\/p>\n

Interactive Chooser:\u00a0Apps can use\u00a0getInitialRestingBounds<\/a>\u00a0on a\u00a0ChooserSession<\/a>\u00a0to identify the final UI position of the Chooser for better layout adjustments.<\/p>\n
