An investigation has begun by the Winnipeg Police Service’s Child Abuse Unit after\u00a0some children playing outside were approached by an unknown vehicle in the 100 block of Kinver Avenue.<\/p>\n
Around 5 p.m. on February 25,\u00a0the school-aged children ran home and told a parent that a man in a light-coloured vehicle, either a van, truck or SUV, pulled up beside them and offered them money and a ride.<\/p>\n
The male suspect has been described with a brown complexion. The suspect may have been wearing a mask. The vehicle was last seen moving westbound down Kinver.<\/p>\n
The investigation is in the early stages.
