The Facebook owner earlier \u2060this month also signed a deal with <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/NVDA\/\" data-ylk=\"slk:Nvidia;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nvidia<\/a> to buy its current and future AI chips.<\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1fy9kyt\">Reuters reported in December \u200bthat \u200bGoogle was pushing to make \u200bits Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) \u200ca viable alternative to Nvidia&#8217;s market-leading GPUs.
