Race into the NASCAR DFS<\/a> streets with the most trusted NASCAR analyst in the industry! His article for the 2026 Focused Health 250 will preview the racetrack, roster construction, past optimal lineups, core plays, tournament plays, and value plays.<\/p>\n This weekend we head to Circuit of the Americas for the Focused Health 250. The race is Saturday at 3pm ET on The CW. This is the first road course race of the 2026 season. COTA is a fantastic road course. Last year was the first year we saw them race the shorter version of this track. We\u2019re going from a 3.41-mile 20-turn course to a 2.4-mile 17-turn course. The shorter course provided battles and very interesting racing last season. I felt like the course benefited the good road course racers. I\u2019ll be using practice, recent COTA data, recent road course data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend. There have been 4 cautions in 4 of the 5 races here. The race winner has started on the pole in 4 of the 5 races here, and 4th in the other race. Practice and qualifying are on Friday night, which is helpful for content.
