A London judge has found a Brampton man guilty of aggravated assault Thursday in relation to a shooting in Richmond Row back in Aug. 2023.<\/p>\n
Justice Lynee Leitch found 33-year-old Romone Bowen of Brampton guilty of three charges, including aggravated assault.<\/p>\n
On Aug. 17, 2023, police responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot off Mill Street in Richmond Row, where Andrew Kanoum was shot.<\/p>\n
Video surveillance footage, along with cell phone data collected from the scene, was entered as evidence, which placed Bowen at the scene that day.<\/p>\n
On the same day, police arrested and charged Jerome Walcott with multiple offences, including robbery.<\/p>\n
Justice Leitch said that Walcott\u2019s pre-trial testimony ultimately satisfied her that Bowen was the shooter.<\/p>\n
