Indian-origin man identified as suspect in deadly 2025 Brampton home invasion\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"\/> A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a 29-year-old man in connection with a deadly home invasion in Brampton that left one person dead last year.Peel Regional Police say Indian-origin <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/manpreet-singh\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" commonstate=\"[object Object]\" frmappuse=\"1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Manpreet Singh<\/a>, who has no fixed address, is wanted for first-degree murder and attempted murder with a firearm following a shooting on August 19, 2025. Officers have warned that he may be armed and dangerous.According to investigators, two suspects allegedly entered a home on Bayhampton Drive, near Castlemore Road and Humberwest Parkway, and opened fire on two people inside. One man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds and later released.Police had earlier arrested a first suspect in the case. In October, 24-year-old Dilpreet Singh of Brampton was charged with first-degree murder in relation to the same incident.Investigators have now identified Manpreet Singh as the second suspect and obtained a Canada-wide arrest warrant. He is described as five feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, straight black hair, brown eyes and a full beard. Police say he has a tattoo on his right forearm that reads \u201cManna Sukh\u201d with a heart symbol between the two words.Authorities have urged the public not to approach him if spotted: \u201cPolice say Singh may be armed and dangerous.
