TALLAHASSEE –\u00a0The Florida State women’s tennis team (2-7) returns home for a Saturday doubleheader hosting Georgia State (2-5) at 11 a.m. and Alabama State (2-4) at 2:30 p.m. at the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Center.<\/p>\n
The Seminoles are unbeaten all-time against both opponents, holding a 9-0 record versus Georgia State and 3-0 against Alabama State. Last season, FSU swept both teams 4-0, including a season-opening win over Alabama State and a home victory against Georgia State at the Speicher Tennis Center.<\/p>\n
Florida State is looking to continue its three-match streak of clinching the doubles point. In doubles, Tina Li<\/a> and Eva Shaw<\/a> have held down Court 1 together. The pair is 2-0, most recently earning a victory against No. 36-ranked Notre Dame to clinch the doubles point for FSU.
