{"id":503641,"date":"2026-02-27T19:14:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T19:14:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/503641\/"},"modified":"2026-02-27T19:14:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T19:14:08","slug":"fulham-winger-kevin-to-miss-several-weeks-with-foot-injury","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/503641\/","title":{"rendered":"Fulham winger Kevin to miss several weeks with foot injury"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">LONDON (AP) \u2014 Fulham\u2019s Brazilian winger Kevin will be sidelined for weeks because of a foot injury that likely requires surgery, manager Marco Silva said Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The 23-year-old Kevin, who has three goals and three assists in 28 appearances this season, was injured in the 3-1 win over Sunderland last Sunday in the Premier League.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Silva said the forward has an injury to his fifth metatarsal and is \u201cprobably going to have surgery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s a big blow for us and for him personally,\u201d Silva said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Fulham paid a reported transfer fee of $46 million to Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk for Kevin last summer.
