{"id":503802,"date":"2026-02-27T20:57:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T20:57:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/503802\/"},"modified":"2026-02-27T20:57:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T20:57:09","slug":"vancouvers-march-forecast-is-out-and-were-in-for-a-very-wet-start","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/503802\/","title":{"rendered":"Vancouver&#8217;s March forecast is out and we&#8217;re in for a very wet start"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Vancouver forecast for March is out, and you\u2019ll want to keep the umbrella nearby for the first part of the new month.<\/p>\n<p>According to Environment and Climate Change (ECCC) meteorologist Brian Proctor, the last few days of February will be mainly clear and warm.<\/p>\n<p>However, the beginning of March may be wetter than normal.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Vancouver forecast\" title=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"477\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2248008\" style=\"color:transparent\"   src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Vancouver-forecast-1-1024x477.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-2248008\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">ECCC<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight now, we\u2019ve got a fairly nice weekend for Saturday, Feb. 28 and Sunday, March 1, with temperatures just below or at seasonal values.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we head into the first work week of March, there is an enhanced possibility of showers. An onshore flow is bringing in impulses which will affect Greater Vancouver starting in mid-week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Vancouver forecast for the start of March is calling for plenty of rain and showers, with a daytime high of up to 13\u00b0C from Monday, March 2, through to Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Overnight lows continue to hover between 3\u00b0C and 6\u00b0C for the first week.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Vancouver rainfall\" title=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"size-large wp-image-2217502\" style=\"color:transparent\"   src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Vancouver-rainfall-warning-1024x683.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-2217502\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tricky_Shark\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/environment-climate-change.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">ECCC<\/a>\u2019s Canadian Climate Normals Data shows that the daily average temperature in December for Vancouver is 6\u00b0C.
