{"id":503994,"date":"2026-02-27T22:55:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T22:55:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/503994\/"},"modified":"2026-02-27T22:55:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T22:55:09","slug":"amber-alert-child-abduction-public-advisory-c26-46413","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/503994\/","title":{"rendered":"Amber Alert \u2013 Child Abduction Public Advisory: C26-46413"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>**UPDATE** The child has been located safely.<\/p>\n<p>On February 27, 2026, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of a child abduction from 54 Chesterfield Avenue. <\/p>\n<p>At approximately 10:09 a.m., East District General Patrol officers attended 54 Chesterfield Avenue and learned that a 2-year-old boy, William ETTAWACAPPO, was taken from a residence by a 30-year-old woman.\u00a0It is unknown where they are going and unknown what vehicle they may have left in.<\/p>\n<p>William was wrapped in a dark blue and light blue blanket.<\/p>\n<p>Police are looking for two women in relation to the abduction. <\/p>\n<p>Caitlin Cassandra MONKMAN (30). She is described as Indigenous in appearance, 5\u20198\u201d, heavy build, last seen wearing dark clothing and light-coloured shoes.<\/p>\n<p>Kineisha Rose JAWBONE (25) (see photo below).
