An Airdrie man is facing voyeurism charges after allegedly filming women without their consent inside a Calgary department store earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Calgary police say the incident began when a man entered a Marshall\u2019s store on Heritage Meadows Way SE around 1:18 p.m. on Feb. 5.<\/p>\n

Investigators allege he concealed his phone with an object and used it to record images and video of six women as they shopped. <\/p>\n

Loss\u2011prevention staff told police they witnessed the behaviour, made eye contact with the man several times, and followed him into the parking lot, where they noted his vehicle and licence plate before he drove away.<\/p>\n

Police later located the suspect during a traffic stop on Yankee Valley Boulevard near Highway 2 in Airdrie at around 11:32 a.m. on Feb. 21. Officers took him into custody for breaching court\u2011ordered conditions.<\/p>\n

Benjamin Ryan Turcotte, 25, of Airdrie, is now charged with six counts of voyeurism and two counts of breaching conditions. <\/p>\n

He was previously charged with three counts of voyeurism<\/a> in November in connection with allegations he followed and filmed women and girls in fitting rooms at two Calgary stores.<\/p>\n
