Toledo, Ohio \u2013 The Youngstown State women’s tennis team dropped a 6-1\u00a0decision to Toledo at the Twos Athletic Club on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n
The Penguins fall to 5-6 on the season while the Rockets are now 5-4.<\/p>\n
In doubles, YSU collected a victory at No. 3 as Lydia Foster<\/a> and Diane Piranda<\/a> teamed up for a 6-2 decision. Toledo won at No. 1, 7-5 and at No. 2, 6-4.<\/p>\n In singles, Yeseniia Ovcharova<\/a>\u00a0picked up a three-set win at No. 3. She won by a score of 7-6 (3), 4-6, 10-7. At No. 1, Hanna Telzynska<\/a> lost a tough three-set contest.<\/p>\n The Penguins head to California for three matches over Spring Break next week.
