Investigators are seeking the public\u2019s help in finding a second suspect sought for a murder in Brampton last summer.<\/p>\n

Peel Regional Police say two people allegedly entered a residence near Castlemore Rd. and Humberwest Pkwy. and shot two individuals on Aug. 19, 2025.<\/p>\n

One victim died while the second was treated for gunshot wounds in hospital and later released.<\/p>\n

One suspect was subsequently identified and arrested in October 2025.<\/p>\n

Dilpreet Singh, 24, of Brampton, was charged with first-degree murder.<\/p>\n

Investigators have now identified a second suspect.<\/p>\n

Manpreet Singh, 29, of no fixed address, is currently wanted on a Canada\u2011wide warrant for first-degree murder and attempted murder with a firearm.<\/p>\n

Singh is described as 5-foot-10, with a medium build, straight black hair, brown eyes, a full beard, and a right forearm tattoo that reads \u201cManna (heart symbol) Sukh.\u201d<\/p>\n

Investigators have reason to believe that Singh may be armed and dangerous.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information pertaining to the investigation, including the location of Manpreet Singh, is asked to call the Homicide Bureau at 905-453-3311, ext. 3205, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).<\/p>\n

A 24-year-old Toronto man has been arrested in a human trafficking investigation.<\/p>\n

Toronto Police say members of their Human Trafficking Enforcement team launched Project Reproach, an initiative to combat the purchase and sale of sexual services from minors, earlier this month.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s alleged that through a combination of deception, coercion and control, the accused person procured and attempted to traffic an underage female victim and the accused persons communicated with and attempted to receive sexual services from an underage female victim.<\/p>\n

Ebenezer Kodua, 24, was arrested on Feb. 21.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s charged with procuring person under 18 years, trafficking in persons under 18 years by recruiting and obtaining sexual services for consideration from person under 18 years.<\/p>\n

Investigators are concerned there may be other alleged victims and have released his image.<\/p>\n

Project Reproach also resulted in four additional adult males being arrested and charged with obtaining sexual services for consideration from person under 18 years.<\/p>\n

Trio busted for 14 York Region break-ins<\/p>\n

Three people are accused of committing more than a dozen break-and-enters across Vaughan, Richmond Hill and Markham.<\/p>\n

In December 2025, York Regional Police launched Project Dora, an investigation into a series of break-and-enters.<\/p>\n

And on Thursday, police received information that suspects of interest were in the area of Tower Hill Rd. and Bathurst St. in Richmond Hill.<\/p>\n

With assistance from York Regional Police Air Support, officers observed the suspects enter a residence on Tower Hill Rd.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived in the area, the suspects had returned to their vehicle where they were arrested, along with the suspected getaway driver.<\/p>\n

A quantity of Canadian, U.S. and Filipino currency was seized.<\/p>\n

Further investigation allegedly linked the suspects to 14 residential break-and-enter incidents across York Region since December 2025.<\/p>\n

Paata Memarne, 31, of Toronto, Mikheil Shvangiradze, 44, of Toronto, and Tariel Nikuradze, 38, of Vaughan, are charged with 11 counts of breaking-and-entering, three counts of break-and-enter \u2013 intent, possession of break-and-enter tools, and participating in a criminal organization.<\/p>\n

Nikuradze also faces charges for breach of probation.<\/p>\n

A man in his 60s was left fighting for his life-threatening after a stabbing in Leslieville Friday morning.<\/p>\n

Toronto Police say officers responded to an apartment building near Queen St. E. and Logan Ave. just before 8:30 a.m. and found a man who had been stabbed.<\/p>\n

The victim was taken to hospital by Toronto medics.<\/p>\n

The extent of his injuries was not immediately known.<\/p>\n

A woman in her 30s was arrested.<\/p>\n

The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
