Throughout the week, prospects will take part in interviews and on-field drills, all with the goal of convincing an NFL team they are worth a draft pick. While some players head into the event knowing they\u2019ll get drafted no matter how they perform, a few players will see their status rise dramatically after delivering standout physical displays.<\/p>\n

The main event has arrived with quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs taking the field for workouts on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Thursday\u2019s workouts featured some head-turning performances, led by Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles\u2019 incredible all-around performance and a time of 4.46 seconds in the 40-yard dash, best among linebackers.<\/p>\n
On Friday, older brother and safety prospect Lorenzo Styles Jr. ran a blazing 4.27 for the best time in the combine so far. And two tight ends made history as Oregon\u2019s Kenyon Sadiq ran a 4.39 in the 40, which is a new combine record at his position. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt TE Eli Stowers broke combine records in both the vertical jump (45.5 inches) and broad jump (11 feet, 3 inches).<\/p>\n

Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love continues to impress during his NFL combine workouts.<\/p>\n
Running wheel routes, Love showed good hands catching a throw a bit behind him. But he also demonstrated some quick cutting ability and elusiveness to avoid a trio of photographers on the sideline.<\/p>\n
However, Love did slip on a towel a few steps later, which may have put a brief scare into everyone. Let\u2019s keep those sidelines clear, people. (If Love hadn\u2019t needed to look back, there likely wouldn\u2019t have been a near-collision.)<\/p>\n

With all eyes on Jeremiyah Love as the running back prospects run the 40-yard dash, it\u2019s Mike Washington Jr. from Arkansas who posted the best time at the position with a 4.33 time in his first attempt.<\/p>\n
That was the fifth-fastest 40 time among all positions thus far at the combine, with Lorenzo Styles Jr. topping the list at 4.27<\/a>.<\/p>\n Washington was a bit slower on his second attempt, clocking a 4.36.<\/p>\n Ian Casselberry<\/p>\n Notre Dame\u2019s Jeremiyah Love is expected to be the first running back selected<\/a> in the 2026 NFL Draft.
