The George Mason women’s tennis team battling illness and\u00a0injuries fell 2-4 to the visiting Howard Bisons in their last scheduled indoor match of the spring season.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Patriots\u00a0continued\u00a0their stellar doubles play by winning the doubles point. Noelle Talarek<\/a> and Ravaka Ramanantoanina won at No. 3 doubles followed by the No. 1 team of Cenan Liu<\/a> and Mary Young<\/a>.<\/p>\n Howard tied the score at 1-1 when Franchesca Brown (HU) defeated Maitree Rout (GM) and took a 2-1 lead with Camile Hall’s (HU) win over Mary Young<\/a> (GM).<\/p>\n George Mason’s No. 1 player, Cenan Liu<\/a> (GM) put the Patriots back even by defeating Amani Jean (HU) in a come from behind three-set win. Howard went ahead 3-2 when Selah Stibbins (HU) outlasted Noelle Talark (GM) at the No. 4 singles position.<\/p>\n The Bison earned the deciding point by a win at No. 5 as Dana Hall (HU) out battled Brooklyn Siegel<\/a> (GM).
