Two of these films, \u201cThe Secret Agent\u201d and \u201cSentimental Value,\u201d are best picture nominees, while all three were awarded major prizes at the Cannes Film Festival last May. \u201cIt Was Just an Accident,\u201d directed by Jafar Panahi, took home the festival\u2019s top prize, the Palme d\u2019Or. \u201cThe Secret Agent\u201d won Cannes\u2019 best director and best actor prizes for Kleber Mendon\u00e7a Filho and Wagner Moura, respectively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">More from Variety<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cHamnet\u201d is another one of the major Oscar contenders hitting streaming before the March 15 ceremony.
