ABC has a new addition to its detective lineup to go alongside \u201cHigh Potential\u201d and \u201cWill Trent.\u201d RJ Decker (Scott Speedman) is a former newspaper photographer, ex-con and all-around mess who\u2019s trying to start fresh as a private investigator. Of course, that fresh start doesn\u2019t last long. He\u2019s immediately juggling bizarre cases, a journalist ex and her cop wife, and a mysterious woman from his past who might help \u2026 or send him straight back to prison. Decker is the kind of sleuth who stumbles into trouble so spectacularly you can\u2019t help but root for him anyway.<\/p>\n

The comedy comes from Matt Tarses and Bill Lawrence (\u201cScrubs,\u201d \u201cTed Lasso,\u201d \u201cShrinking\u201d) and stars Steve Carell as a best-selling author whose novels feature the heroic, fearless Rooster \u2014 a version of himself he\u2019s always wished he could be. Called to speak at the liberal arts college where his professor daughter Katie (Charly Clive) is navigating a messy separation from her cheating husband (Phil Dunster), Greg quickly finds campus life as chaotic as his personal one.<\/p>\n
