Jack Schlossberg revealed his late sister Tatiana Schlossberg\u2019s last words to him were about his campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old aspiring congressman<\/a> told \u201cCBS Sunday Morning\u201d viewers<\/a> over the weekend that he \u201cknows she\u2019s still rooting for\u201d his political career.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe last thing that she said to me was, \u2018You better win,\u2019\u201d Jack revealed on Sunday. \u201cNo one knew me better, and I knew no one better than her.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

He also reflected on growing up with Tatiana<\/a>, who lost her battle to acute myeloid leukemia<\/a> in December 2025 at 35, and their older sister, Rose Schlossberg.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s brutal [to have two sisters]. Absolutely brutal,\u201d Jack said. \u201cThey don\u2019t let you get away with anything. My style is never good enough. I\u2019ve never gotten an answer right in my entire life.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, he acknowledged, \u201cIn all honesty, they taught me everything I know about how to be a strong person.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jack and Rose \u2014 along with their parents, Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, Tatiana\u2019s husband, George Moran, and the couple\u2019s two kids \u2014 signed the statement announcing the environmental journalist\u2019s death last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts,\u201d they wrote at the time.<\/p>\n

Jack subsequently took to Instagram to share a variety of quotes<\/a>, kicking off with a line from Tatiana\u2019s \u201cInconspicuous Consumption\u201d book<\/a>, published in 2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s up to us to create a country that takes seriously its obligations to the planet,\u201d it read. \u201cEssentially, what I am describing is hard work with possibly limited success for the rest of your life. But we have to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jack followed this with screenshots of poems about grief, as well as quotes from former presidents, including their grandfather John F. Kennedy.<\/p>\n

The social media tribute, which was not captioned, concluded with a throwback snap of Jack and Tatiana standing with their hands over their hearts at an event.<\/p>\n

The political commentator paused his campaign to replace<\/a> retiring Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) in New York\u2019s 12th Congressional District to grieve, resuming in January.<\/p>\n

His run for Congress began in November 2025, the same month Tatiana went public with her cancer news<\/a> in an emotional New Yorker essay.<\/p>\n

Jack reacted with an Instagram quote<\/a> at the time, which read, \u201cLife is short \u2014 let it rip.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tatiana was diagnosed with the disease in May 2024, immediately after giving birth to daughter Josephine, now 1.<\/p>\n
