Evelyn Miller (\u201cFoundation\u201d), Ben Chapple (\u201cGood Cop Bad Cop\u201d), Louis Cunningham (\u201cMarie Antoinette\u201d) and Island Austin (\u201cI Can Only Imagine 2\u201d) have all joined the cast of the live-action \u201cGod of War\u201d TV series at Amazon Prime Video.<\/p>\n

Miller will play Gna, Odin\u2019s Valkyrie commander and a fierce, disciplined warrior. Her loyalty to Odin borders on fanatical, and her dedication to serving comes at the expense of her own well-being.<\/p>\n

The other three will play the children of Thor and Sif. Chapple plays the handsome and adventurous eldest son Magni, an immortal playboy yearning for greater purpose.<\/p>\n

Cunningham plays middle child Modi, the one with a gentle demeanour, insatiably curious and with a mind that can get carried away with problem-solving.<\/p>\n

Austin plays Thrud, the precocious, inquisitive youngest child with a natural yearning for knowledge and a peacemaker among the family. Odin sees great potential in her.<\/p>\n

The two younger children will be series regulars, and the other two are recurring. They join a cast that includes Ryan Hurst as Kratos, Callum Vinson as Atreus, Teresa Palmer as Sif, Max Parker as Heimdall, \u00d3lafur Darri \u00d3lafsson as Thor, Mandy Patinkin as Odin, Alastair Duncan as Mimir, Danny Woodburn and Jeff Gulka as brothers Brok and Sindri, and Ed Skrein as Baldur.<\/p>\n

The key role of Freya remains unannounced, as are some smaller roles like Tyr, Faye and Athena. The series has received a two-season order at Amazon, with pre-production now underway in Vancouver.<\/p>\n

The series sees father and son Kratos and Atreus embark on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye. Through their adventures, Kratos tries to teach his 10-year-old son to be a better god, while Atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better human.<\/p>\n

Ronald D. Moore (\u201cBattlestar Galactica,\u201d \u201cOutlander\u201d) serves as the writer, executive producer, and showrunner.<\/p>\n

The casting comes as the original \u201cGod of War\u201d creator David Jaffe has posted a seven-minute video reaction<\/a> to the show\u2019s first photo, calling it a \u201cterrible image\u201d and \u201cso dumb,\u201d taking issue with Atreus\u2019 hair and Kratos\u2019 stance.<\/p>\n
