Felipe Spagnuolo<\/a> has\u00a0won this week’s\u00a0Southland\u00a0Conference Tennis Players of the Week award, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.<\/p>\nSpagnuolo\u00a0had a solid week for the Colonels, going 2-1 in both singles and doubles with his lone losses coming against No. 7 LSU. He earned a straight-set win over Southern at No. 2 and was the only Colonel to win in singles vs Charleston.<\/p>\n
Spagnuolo won both of his doubles matches, 6-4, helping Nicholls sweep doubles action vs Southern and Charleston.<\/p>\n
The honor is the first for Spagnuolo in his career.\u00a0
