Police say some 180,000 potentially lethal fentanyl doses worth over $2.3 million have been seized, leading to charges for a Brampton man and a Canada-wide search for a suspect from Calgary.<\/p>\n

The OPP says the investigation into a suspected inter-provincial drug ring started nearly a year ago in May 2025, with officers tracking a group trafficking fentanyl between the Greater Toronto Area and Calgary, Alta.<\/p>\n

Police in Ontario worked with the Calgary Police Service and RCMP in the joint-forces investigation, and say a property in Brampton was raided on Feb. 10.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s where officers found 18 kilograms of suspected fentanyl, the OPP says. The bust was worth around $2.3 million.<\/p>\n

OPP Chief Sup. Mike Stoddarmeans said the seizure \u201cprevented a significant threat to public safety.\u201d<\/p>\n

One suspect was arrested in Brampton, while two others were taken into custody in Winnipeg and Calgary, the OPP says.<\/p>\n

Three people including a man from Brampton have been charged, and police say a fourth suspect from Calgary is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.<\/p>\n

The OPP says Navjot Singh, 20, of Brampton, Attarvir Singh, 23, and Balwinder Singh, 21, both of Calgary, have been charged with trafficking-related offences.<\/p>\n

Manpreet Singh, 21, of Calgary, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant on charges of conspiracy to commit an indictable offence \u2013 trafficking firearms, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence \u2013 trafficking fentanyl, and three counts each of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and trafficking \u2013 fentanyl.<\/p>\n
