Hamilton<\/a> has been ranked number five on a list of Canada\u2019s most livable major cities<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n The list comes from national newspaper The Globe and Mail as the third edition of a data-driven ranking for cities of varying sizes across the country.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cOur goal was to move beyond the typical discussion of housing prices and real estate markets and ask: What actually makes a place good to live?\u201d reads the ranking from the Globe and Mail.\u00a0<\/p>\n The news organization\u2019s ranking uses 60 variables across 10 categories to determine their rankings, including things like housing, climate resilience, healthcare, education, transportation, community, economy, and safety. They\u2019ve also filtered the results by population to compare Canadian cities of similar size ranges.\u00a0<\/p>\n In the category of Major Cities \u2013 meaning a Canadian city with a population greater than 500,000 \u2013 Hamilton ranks number five, falling just below Quebec City at number four, Winnipeg at number three, Vancouver at number two, and Ottawa at number one.\u00a0<\/p>\n Falling below Hamilton is Halifax at number six, Toronto at number seven, Calgary at number eight, Edmonton at number nine, and Mississauga at number ten.\u00a0<\/p>\n Do you agree with Hamilton<\/a>\u2019s ranking on the Globe and Mail\u2019s list?
