src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/70c8fc80.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"position:absolute;width:1px;height:1px\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The public records, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/c4gjjn41l7no\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">viewed by the BBC<\/a>, indicate that Spears was placed under arrest on March 4 around 9:30 p.m. local time after being pulled over by the California Highway Patrol in Ventura County.<\/p>\n<p>She was released shortly after 6 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, law enforcement confirmed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbclosangeles.com\/news\/local\/britney-spears-released-after-being-arrested-for-dui-in-moorpark\/3857305\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">to NBC4 Investigates<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The 44-year-old pop star\u2019s arrest was listed as a \u201ccite and release,\u201d with no probation listed.<\/p>\n<p>Spears is due to appear in court on May elderly or very ill people who are suffering from dementia or otherwise incapacitated and unable to make decisions for themselves.<\/p>\n<p>One was established for Spears 19 years ago following her
