General manager Stan Bowman said his team is unlikely to make more moves ahead of Friday’s 3 p.m. ET trade deadline.<\/p>\n

“I would imagine that we’re done. I don’t expect to make other moves. But part of our job is to see what’s out there. But I think, looking at where we’re at, I think any further addition wouldn’t be a significant one,” Bowman said.<\/p>\n

“If it is, in a depth role, something that made sense, we’d look at it, but most likely I would say this is our team.”<\/p>\n

The Oilers have already made a pair of trade ahead of the deadline.<\/p>\n

They brought in defenceman Connor Murphy<\/a> from the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday, sending a second-round pick the other way.<\/p>\n

Then, two days later, the Oilers went back to the Blackhawks well, picking up forwards Jason Dickinson<\/a> and Colton Dach<\/a> in exchange for Andrew Mangiapane and a conditional first-round pick.<\/p>\n

Edmonton is projected to have $475,000 in salary cap space at the deadline, increasing the difficulty on any further additions.<\/p>\n

The Oilers sit third in the Pacific Division with 68 points in 62 games as they seek a return to the Stanley Cup Final for the third straight season.<\/p>\n
