More than $2.3 million worth of suspected fentanyl was seized and four individuals have been charged following an interprovincial drug trafficking investigation that spanned between Alberta and the Greater Toronto Area.<\/p>\n

In a news release, police say the investigation, dubbed \u201cProject OLLIE,\u201d began in May 2025 when the OPP launched an intelligence-led probe into a network trafficking fentanyl between the GTA and Calgary.<\/p>\n

Police say a search warrant was executed earlier this month on Feb. 10, at a home on Albright Road in Brampton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Investigators say they seized approximately 18 kilograms of suspected fentanyl that is equal to roughly 180,000 lethal doses. They also seized three cellphones during the search. <\/p>\n

As a result, 20-year-old Navjot Singh, of Brampton, was arrested and charged with:<\/p>\n

Police say he was remanded into custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on March 6.<\/p>\n

In addition, investigators say Attarvir Singh, 23, of Calgary, was also arrested that same day in Winnipeg on a Canada-wide warrant by the Winnipeg police.<\/p>\n

He faces the following charges:<\/p>\n

Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence \u2013 trafficking fentanylPossession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 \u2013 three countsPossession for the purpose of trafficking \u2013 fentanyl \u2013 three countsTrafficking fentanyl \u2013 three counts<\/p>\n

Police say he was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on March 4.<\/p>\n

Last week, on Feb. 24, 21-year-old Balwinder Singh, of Calgary, was arrested by the Alberta Sheriffs Fugitive Apprehension Sheriffs Support Team.<\/p>\n

He has been charged with:<\/p>\n

Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence \u2013 trafficking fentanylTrafficking fentanylPossession for the purpose of trafficking \u2013 fentanylPossession of property obtained by crime under $5,000<\/p>\n

Police say he was remanded into custody following a bail hearing and is also scheduled to appear in court in Brampton on March 6.<\/p>\n

A Canada-wide warrant has also been issued for Manpreet Singh, 21, of Calgary, who is wanted on charges including:<\/p>\n

The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the Calgary Police Service, the Ontario Provincial Police and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.<\/p>\n
