The\u00a0Edmonton Oilers\u00a0roster appears to be set.<\/p>\n
General manager Stan Bowman said his team is unlikely to make more moves ahead of Friday\u2019s 3 p.m. ET trade deadline.<\/p>\n
\u201cI would imagine that we\u2019re done. I don\u2019t expect to make other moves. But part of our job is to see what\u2019s out there. But I think, looking at where we\u2019re at, I think any further addition wouldn\u2019t be a significant one,\u201d Bowman said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf it is, in a depth role, something that made sense, we\u2019d look at it, but most likely I would say this is our team.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Oilers have already made a pair of trades ahead of the deadline.<\/p>\n
They brought in defenceman\u00a0Connor Murphy\u00a0from the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday, sending a second-round pick the other way.<\/p>\n
Then, two days later, the Oilers went back to the Blackhawks well, picking up forwards\u00a0Jason Dickinson\u00a0and\u00a0Colton Dach\u00a0in exchange for Andrew Mangiapane and a conditional first-round pick.<\/p>\n
Edmonton is projected to have $475,000 in salary cap space at the deadline, increasing the difficulty of any further additions.<\/p>\n
