With the Pixel 10a now on store shelves, Google today released factory images for \u201cstallion.\u201d<\/p>\n

There are two builds<\/a> for the 2026 mid-ranger:\u00a0<\/p>\n

16.0.0 (BD6A.251031.001.A4, Mar 2026)<\/p>\n

16.0.0 (CP1A.260305.018, Mar 2026)<\/p>\n

The first build represents the out-of-the-box software, while the second is the day one Android 16 QPR3 update with the March 2026 security patch.<\/p>\n

As always, these images help you restore a software-damaged phone to the original factory firmware. Google says it is \u201ctypically easier and safer to sideload the full OTA image instead,\u201d which is also available today<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s additions confirm that the Pixel 10a is codenamed \u201cstallion\u201d to continue the racehorse theme:<\/p>\n
