The Jonas Brothers weren\u2019t quite in an astronaut\u2019s orbit, and as a result, they nearly didn\u2019t land a photo with him.<\/p>\n

The musicians, who were recently inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame, joined the ranks of Harriet Tubman, The Isley Brothers and Meryl Streep with the honor. But another inductee, former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, almost moonwalked his way out of a photo with the trio.<\/p>\n

Jonas went on to say that someone approached Aldrin and suggested, \u201cYou should probably take a picture with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI met the Jonas Brothers at the @<\/a>dallascowboys game. Apparently they\u2019re hot stuff because my Mission Director @Buzzs_xtina said so,\u201d Aldrin captioned his photo on the platform. <\/p>\n

As Aldrin\u2019s caption said, the exchange happened on the sidelines of a Dallas Cowboys football game \u2014 and as Jonas recalled, his facial expression was filled with surprise as he heard the original \u201cno\u201d from Aldrin. <\/p>\n

\u201cIf anyone has earned the right to be a dick, it\u2019s kind of Buzz Aldrin,\u201d host Josh Scherer commented to the trio. <\/p>\n

Jonas then joked that Aldrin \u201callegedly\u201d took a voyage to the moon \u2014 a moment Scherer defused by asking if the trio had any Tubman or Albert Einstein stories to share with the audience. <\/p>\n
