A raid on a Brampton home has led to the seizure of drugs, guns and ammunition and the arrest of three people.<\/p>\n

In February, the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) from the Caledon Detachment of the OPP launched an investigation into a drug trafficking operation.<\/p>\n

With the assistance of other police agencies, including the Canada Border Services Agency, a search warrant was executed upon a residence in Brampton.<\/p>\n

At the scene, officers found 80 grams of opium, two firearms, firearm ammunition, and a replica handgun.<\/p>\n

As a result of the investigation, three individuals were arrested and charged.<\/p>\n

Kushdeep Kaur, 25, of Brampton, was charged with:<\/p>\n

Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device, or ammunition \u2013 two counts<\/p>\n

Balpreet Kaur, 26, of Brampton, was charged with:<\/p>\n

Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking<\/p>\n

Arun Kumar, 20, of Brampton, was charged with:<\/p>\n

Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.<\/p>\n

The accused are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton at a later date to answer the charges.<\/p>\n
